Created in place of catpbp to avoid duplication of camelcase categoryOfPilotBoardingPlace with Hydro CATPIL

As declared on catpbp discussion page I agree.

Proposed defintion: The selection of one location compared to others.

jens (talk) 07:23, 13 February 2018 (CET) I have another idea which might allow multiple use of the attribute. We call the attribute "Category of Preference" and the values remain unchanged. The definitons would be

Proposed defintion: "Category of Preference" The selection of a first choice compared to other options.

primary: The preferred first choice used in normal conditions.

alternate: The preferred first choice used in unsuitable conditions.

--raphael (talk) 22:20, 14 February 2018 (CET): Agreed in principle. The "suitable/unsuitable conditions" wording might still be too specific, we might have to tweak the definitions later to generalize them further.

raphael (talk) 09:11, 29 May 2018 (CEST): I propose changing the definition of "alternate" to: The preferred choice in extraordinary conditions.

The attribute also should be renamed to "Category of preference" as mentioned in the 13 February discussion.

jens (talk) 16:22, 30 May 2018 (CEST) by doing so, I further suggest to change primary to "The preferred and published choice which is used in normal conditions". That is an agnostic description of the fact and allows multiple use.

So, the construction will be :

Category of Preference 1. primary The preferred and published choice which is used in normal conditions 2. alternate The preferred choice in extraordinary conditions

I'll make the amendments when you give the "go".

raphael (talk) 17:25, 30 May 2018 (CEST): Shall we harmonize the descriptions by changing the definition of primary to "The preferred choice in normal conditions."?

jens (talk) 17:30, 30 May 2018 (CEST) Yes, that sounds good. I'll discuss that with Al and Jeff.
