Jens 10.07.07 a question mark added for NEG remaining parts; a remark suggested to fit additional attrinute IDs

Requires more discussion SNPWG8

DA 25.09.07 Re Northern comment: Dangerous goods and Harmful substance reports are covered at items 5 & 6. Health report is not one of the items introduced by IMO resolution A.851(20).; therefore all struck through. Remark amended.

Jens 14.11. propose to add pilot request and ETA report

Jens 13.12. health reports covered by authority. Is ETA report possibly covered by svaprc, or also by authority?

Jens 11.01. added some definitions

DA 9 Feb 08 Addition of items 8 and 9 not understood. Original 8 “Any other report” is i.a.w. IMO Resolution A851.20 and provides geneneral rules when Governments depart from the standard IMO reports. Items 8 and 9 removed. pltrqs reinstated.

DA 11 Feb 08 Name changed by adding IMO after conversation with Jens to tighten up meaning

item 9 makes no sense with the name of the attribute. The attribute content itself looks fine to me, but we can't talk about reports according to IMO guidelines and point 8 deals with reports specified by authorities.

DavidAcland 14:38, 20 August 2008 (CEST)

I think that this is OK. 1 to 8 are a direct lift from the appendix of Resolution A.821(20). I have added a link to the IMO site and amended the remark to make it clearer that even the non standard reports, included at 8, for things like INSPIRES (India) and REEFVTS (Australia) are basically covered by the IMO General Principles.

jens 10:59, 21 August 2008 (CEST) convinced, the clarification works.

raphael (talk) 03:36, 2 February 2017 (CET): Definition needed, none currently on main page and registry has just 'Category of ship reporting'.

Proposed definition: Classification of ship reports based on IMO standard report formats.

The reference for listed values should be the cited 'Appendix to IMO Resolution A.851(20)'.
