was a good discussion in Monaco on this. Go ahead.

Definitions of Saturday and Sunday have a Western bias and I do not believe that we refer to "weekend" anywhere else in the model.

I propose to delete: (together with Sunday forming part of the weekend) from both.

raphael (talk) 04:17, 18 January 2017 (CET): Proposed definition: The days of the week.
Remarks: This is an ordered enumeration.

jens (talk) 20:48, 22 January 2017 (CET) That is a bit tricky. 1. I agree with the defintion. 2. The problem is what the registry policy will be. What I learnt is that Jeff is trying (but I'm not sure if that position is still valid) to replace all enumarations which are either common (like day of the week) or (cardinal directions) or based on definitions made by other organisations such as CATUIC, by code lists. So what to do? Is waiting on an intended registry guidelines appropriate or should we simply proceed? I'm tempted to say go forward and replace the enumations by code lists later and if urgently requested.
