Definition:

Daylight Saving Time (DST) or Summer Time is the practice of temporarily advancing clocks in a time zone during the summertime so that evenings have more daylight and mornings have less. Daylight Saving Time offset from UTC is the time difference in a time zone between Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and DST. daylightOffsetUTC is expressed as ±[hh]:[mm] and is added to UTC to obtain the local DST.

Example. daylightOffsetUTC for Germany is expressed as: +02:00.
