Who Am I?
I am a "technical expert" from the University of New Hampshire (UNH).
At UNH I work in the Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping/Joint Hydrographic Center primarily on the "Chart of the Future" related topics: i.e. chart data and supplemental chart data (nautical publications)
I am very interested in the Nautical Publications and have worked closely with Notice to Mariners as well as the U.S. Coast Pilot (and Tom Loeper)
I am also on the IHO Tides, Currents and Water Levels Working Group (TWCWG) and have helped with the S-111 product specification since 2012.
I collate all chart related news on the Vislab Google+ page
My background is in Computer Science, but I am also a recreational sailor (36 foot Catalina)
